CZAS TATTOO
Exterior banner design for a tattoo studio on Humberstone Road, Leicester. The project involved creating a bold, eye-catching shopfront graphic that reflects the studio’s personality and strengthens its street presence. The final design combines strong typography, graphic detailing and high-contrast visuals to help the business stand out within a busy urban setting.
My role:
Designed a large-scale exterior banner measuring 412cm x 85 cm
Created the full visual layout for the shopfront signage
Designed separate lettering to be cut from black plexiglass
Planned for the letters to be mounted onto the banner, creating a raised 3D effect and adding depth to the final installation
Shopfront Installation
Shopfront featuring the exterior banner designed for CZAS TATTOO. The banner colour palette was developed to work with the existing interior of the studio, with the green graphics and green shutters creating a bold, coordinated street presence.
The Banner
The banner design uses a bold, high-contrast visual style to reflect the tattoo studio’s strong identity and maximise visibility from the street. The composition combines oversized custom lettering with mechanical gear motifs, tattoo-machine illustrations and halftone graphics, creating an industrial aesthetic with a slightly retro feel.
The bright green background provides a strong visual base, while the black-and-white graphics and lettering create clear contrast and legibility at scale. Supporting details, including the studio logo, address, establishment date and award-winning message, are integrated into the layout without competing with the main CZAS TATTOO branding.
3D Raised Lettering Detail
The main CZAS TATTOO lettering was produced as a separate template to create a raised, dimensional finish across the shopfront. Each letter measures approximately 42 cm high and was cut from 5 mm black plexiglass.
The lettering was then mounted over the printed banner using 1 cm spacers, lifting it away from the surface to create a subtle 3D effect, added depth and stronger visual impact when viewed from street level.

Brand Identity & Window Graphics

Brand identity and environmental graphics created for Craft Studio, a contemporary hair and beauty salon. I developed the CRAFT STUDIO logo in both light and dark variations, using a clean geometric letterform to give the brand a modern, premium feel.
The identity was then extended across a series of large-format window vinyls, designed to work with the proportions of the existing shopfront glazing. The graphics combine bold beauty and grooming imagery with curved framing and a restrained dark palette, creating strong street-level visibility while maintaining a cohesive visual connection with the logo.
My role: logo design, visual identity development, window graphic composition, large-format artwork preparation and adaptation of the design across multiple window sizes.

The images featuring red lips and an eye with a styled eyebrow were supplied by the client and show real clients who had treatments carried out at the studio. All remaining imagery used within the window graphics was sourced from licensed stock photography.
